Join us as we explore Egypt over two episodes. Petra will take us into the tombs underneath the Great Pyramids of Giza where mummies may still lurk. Cameras aren’t allowed in many of the places we will visit but Petra made friends with many of the local guides and a little ‘Baksheesh’ can go a long way.
One of the highlights was the Temple of Abu Simbel where Petra woke up before dawn to see the sun rise on the great Ramses. They turned golden in the morning sunlight.
