A trip to Egypt will exceed all expectations. Children will immediately be drawn to the pyramids, temples and museums. There is something about the Ancient world that arouses a curiosity in a child and Petra was drawn from her first glance at The Great Pyramid.
We will visit Egypt over two episodes. In part one Petra visits the great pyramids in Giza and the oldest pyramid in Saqqara. She learns how the pyramids were made and most importantly that the pyramids are tombs.
“Watch out for the Mummies”
We will go into the pyramids, down steep staircases, narrow hallways, and into tunnels that only Petra can fit. Are there still mummies down here?
